SYMPTOMSWhen you run a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) management program on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer, the SNMPMgrClose SNMP Management API function may take one second to run.
This time delay may cause performance problems for Windows Server 2003 SNMP programs that frequently call the SNMPMgrOpen function and the SNMPMgrClose function. RESOLUTION

WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use one additional SNMPMgrOpen function on the local host for each SNMP management program. Then, match this additional SNMPMgrOpen function to the SNMPMgrClose function during SNMP management program shutdown.
