This Support Webcast will present troubleshooting steps to help you resolve common connectivity issues that may occur when you are connecting to SQL Server from a secure Web-based application using Kerberos protocol. This scenario is frequently termed double-hop authentication because credentials must be delegated from the client to the Web server and then to the database server. It will discuss the requirements to establish connectivity in this environment.

This is a Level 200 session presented by John Sirmon.

John Sirmon is a technical lead with the Microsoft Developer Support Webdata team and has worked for Microsoft since March 2001. He has worked with Visual Studio .NET since the first beta version, and has extensive development experience with both Visual Studio .NET and Visual Basic 6.0. John holds a B.S. degree in business administration from the Citadel. He also holds the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certifications.
