Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issues are also fixed in this hotfix package but were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you try to use the Input Method Editor Standard 2003 (IME) in an Office 2003 program to type Japanese hiragana characters, the program may stop responding and quit unexpectedly.
  • The Language toolbar appears when you press CTRL+ALT+DEL when you try to unlock a workstation with a user account that has only User permissions. When you click to select the user name, you receive the following stop error:
    STOP: C000021A {Fatal System Error}
    The Windows Logon Process System process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x0000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down.
