SYMPTOMS

One or more of the following behaviors may occur when you run Norton AntiVirus and SymEvent driver version 11.0:0.13 from Symantec on your Microsoft Windows 2000 Server-based computer:
  • Your server loses network connectivity with client computers. The following event ID message is logged in the system event log: Event ID: 2020
    Source: Srv
    Description:
    The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty.
  • Your server stops responding.
  • Unexpected failovers occur in a clustered environment.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the latest SymEvent driver. STATUS

This problem was first corrected in SymEvent driver version 11.3.0.17.
