SYMPTOMS
When you run the Information Store Integrity Checker program (Isinteg.exe) on a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003, the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service process may unexpectedly quity.
If the correct symbols are installed, you notice a call stack that is similar to the following when you examine the Drwtsn32.log file or the User.dmp file:

CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- An item in the Information Store has item-level permissions configured.
- A user deletes that item.
If these two conditions are true, an access violation error occurs in the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service process. This access violation error occurs when the item is parsed during the Deleted Folder test pass operation that Isinteg.exe runs.
The Deleted Folder test pass runs when one of the two following command-line options is specified in the
isinteg command:

Service pack information
