Some text may reappear in a text slide when you press the BACKSPACE key in a text slide in a Live Meeting session (842380)

SYMPTOMSWhen you press the BACKSPACE key in a text slide in a
Microsoft Office Live Meeting session, the text may be deleted but some of the
text may reappear.CAUSEThis problem may occur if you have Sun Java 2 Runtime
Environment (JRE) 1.4.2 by Sun Microsystems installed.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, determine the version of Sun Java
that you are running. If you are running Sun Java 1.4.2, remove it. To do this,
follow these steps:
- To determine the version of Sun Java that you are running,
follow these steps:
- Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click
Internet Options.
- Find the Java (Sun) section that
indicates the version of Sun Java that you are running.
- If you are running Sun Java version 1.4.2, remove it. To do
this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click
Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove
Programs.
- In the Currently installed programs
list, click the earlier version of Sun Java, and then click
Remove to remove the earlier version from your
computer.
Note Repeat this step to remove Java Web Start if it
is listed. - Restart your computer.
