Invitation e-mail message to Live Meeting is blank (842377)

SYMPTOMS

When you receive a meeting invitation that was sent by using either Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2003 or Microsoft Office Live Meeting 5.x, the invitation e-mail message may be blank.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you have the Live Meeting for Microsoft Outlook Add-in installed, and then you upgrade to Microsoft Office 2003.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Outlook 2003.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Mail Format tab, click to select the Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages check box under Message format.
  4. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
When you open an e-mail message in Outlook 2003, the message opens in Word 2003.
