You may experience problems when you use the Highlighter tool on a Whiteboard Slide in Live Meeting (842375)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Highlighter tool on a Whiteboard Slide in Microsoft Office Live Meeting, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
  • The highlighting does not appear immediately.
  • The highlighting cuts through the background of the Whiteboard slide.
  • The movement of the Highlighter tool is offset from the highlighting.
  • Grey triangles may appear where the highlighting should appear.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you use the NVIDIA Riva TNT2 display driver.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, decrease the hardware acceleration for your display driver. To do this, follow these steps.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Appearance and Themes.
  3. Click Display.
  4. On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
  5. On the Troubleshoot tab, move the Hardware acceleration slider one notch to the left.
  6. Click OK to close the Advanced Settings dialog box.
  7. Click OK to close the Display Properties dialog box.
