Only the audio is heard when you try to play a recording in the Basic Windows Media player format in Live Meeting (842369)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to play a recording in the Basic recording format (the Basic recording format is the Microsoft Windows Media formatted streamed audio format), the audio plays, but the slides and the slide list does not appear.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of the security scripting that is on Microsoft Windows Media Player 9.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Open Windows Media Player.
  2. Click Tools, click Options, and then click the Security tab.
  3. Under the Content area, click to select the Run Script Commands when present check box, and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
