The Live Meeting toolbar does not appear in Outlook 2003 (842357)

SYMPTOMS

The Live Meeting toolbar does not appear in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 after you install the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because you have not modified your Outlook 2003 configuration preferences to display the Live Meeting toolbar.

RESOLUTION

You must modify your Outlook 2003 configuration preferences to display the Live Meeting toolbar. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type explorer in the Open box , and this click OK.
  2. Locate the \Program Files\Microsoft Office\Live Meeting\Addins folder.
  3. Double-click Preferences.exe, type your user ID, type your password, and then type your Live Meeting account URL.

    Note If you receive an error message or a warning message, click OK.
  4. Close Preferences.exe, and then quit Outlook 2003.
  5. Restart your computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
