When you try to import information from Entourage 2001 for Mac to Entourage X not all information is imported (842265)

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, you must first determine if the combined file size of the Entourage 2001 Identities database and the message files is greater than 2 GB. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Documents folder on your Macintosh hard disk.
2. Double-click the Documents folder, and then double-click the Microsoft User Data folder.
3. Double-click the Office 2001 Identities folder.
4. Locate and then click your identity folder.
   
   Note Your identity folder has the same name as the identity that you set up for your user information in Entourage 2001 for Mac.
5. Click Get Info on the File menu to display the size of this folder. The size is the combined size of all the files contained in this folder.

If the total size of all the folders is greater than 2 GB, the combined size of the Entourage database and message files is also greater than 2 GB. If the combined size of the Entourage database and message files is also greater than 2 GB, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold down the OPTION key when you start Entourage 2001 for Mac.
2. Click Typical Rebuild.
3. Click Rebuild.
4. Repeat the previous steps to determine if the identity folder size is under 2 GB.

If the identity folder size is still greater than 2 GB, you must delete e-mail messages from Entourage 2001 for Mac until the identity folder size is less than 2 GB.
