Some cell borders do not print in Excel 2004 for Mac (841497)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2004 for Mac, you may notice that the printed version does not match what you see on the screen. Cell borders that use double, thin dash-dot-dot, and thin dash-dot patterns do not print.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the print quality is set to Normal.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, set the print quality to High. To change the print quality, follow these steps:
  1. Click Page Setup on the File menu.
  2. In the Print quality list, click High.
  3. Click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
