The cell or the cell range that you modified most recently does not appear in the viewable area when you open a saved Works Spreadsheet file (840982)

SYMPTOMSWhen you open a saved Microsoft Works Spreadsheet file, the
cell or the cell range that you modified most recently does not appear in the
viewable area.CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Microsoft Works Spreadsheet
module starts the viewable area with the A1 cell, and the data or the selected
cell may not be in the viewable area.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Use keyboard shortcuts to locate your data To locate your data in an open Works Spreadsheet file, use the
following keyboard shortcuts:
- CTRL+ END selects the cell at the intersection of the last
row and the last column that contain data.
- PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN scroll through the file.
- CTRL+G allows you specify a cell reference to
display.
Method 2: Use range names to display your dataTo create a range name, follow these steps:
- Start Works.
- Use a click-and-drag operation to select the range of data
that you want to name.
- On the Insert menu, click Range
Name.
- In the Name box, type a name for the
range, and then click OK.
To use range names to display your data, follow these steps:
- Start Works.
- Open the file that you want to work with, and then press
CTRL+G.
- Under Select a range name, click the range
name that you want to view, and then click Go to.
