When you try to save a drawing as JPEG File Interchange
Format, you may receive the following error message:
Number is not valid.
This issue may occur if Microsoft
Windows uses a comma as a decimal separator in some languages, such as
Swedish.
"Invalid argument" error message when you try to create a custom date property
If you try to create a custom date property with the
language setting of Chinese (Singapore), and then you change the
Format property from the initial setting that you specified, you receive
the following error message:
An invalid argument was
encountered.
Visio 2003 quits unexpectedly when you drag a signal shape to your drawing
If you use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) Model
Diagram template to create a UML model diagram, when you drag a signal shape to
your drawing, Visio 2003 may quit unexpectedly.
Shape does not change when you change the value that is contained in the ShapeSheet of a Microsoft Visio 2002 drawing
When you open a Visio 2002 drawing in Visio 2003 that
contains a shape that has a reference to a user cell on the ShapeSheet, if you
change the value that is contained in the ShapeSheet, the shape does not
change.
"Visio cannot open the file" error message when you try to open a Visio 2003 drawing that contains XML that is not valid
When you try to open a Visio 2003 drawing that contains
XML that is not valid, you receive the following error message:
Visio cannot open the file. The xml is
invalid.
Import Data Wizard may not import fields that have custom properties correctly when you try to import a Microsoft Excel workbook that contains Chinese (Traditional) characters
When you try to import an Excel workbook that contains
Chinese (Traditional) characters, the Import Data Wizard may not import fields
that have custom properties correctly.
Hyperlinks that use a relative path are broken after you save a Visio 2003 drawing as a Web page
After you save a Visio 2003 drawing as a Web page by
using the SVG format, hyperlinks that use a relative path are
broken.
Whole drawing is not printed when you print a Visio 2003 drawing to a PCL 3 printer
When you print a Visio 2003 drawing to a PCL 3 printer
such as a Hewlett Packard DeskJet 1220c printer to 11-inch by 17-inch paper,
the whole drawing is not printed. For example, the top and the bottom of the
drawing may be cut-off, or the bottom third of the drawing may be printed above
the rest of the drawing.
Visio 2003 drawing is printed in Portrait orientation when you try to print in Landscape orientation
When you try to print in Landscape orientation to a
Hewlett Packard CP 1700 printer, the Visio 2003 drawing is printed in Portrait
orientation.
B4 paper size is not correct when you do not have a printer installed
When you do not have a printer installed in Windows, and
you click the
Printer Paper drop down list box in Visio 2003,
the B4 paper size is not correct.
Width of the shape is not changed when you use the ForceFormula property
When you use the
ForceFormula property to set the width of an existing shape that already has
the width defined, the width of the shape is not changed. This issue occurs
when the width value is the same, but the measurement is in different
units--for example, decimal and millimeters.
Visio 2003 opens with no active drawing if you use the Visio WBS Chart Wizard in Microsoft Office Project 2003
If you use the Visio WBS Chart Wizard in Project 2003 to
import your tasks into Visio 2003, Visio 2003 starts with no active drawing.
This issue occurs in the Turkish version of Project 2003.
Visio 2003 quits when you click Refresh Model on the Database menu
When you click
Refresh Model on the
Database menu in Visio 2003 to update the Microsoft SQL
database in a Database Model Diagram, Visio 2003 quits
unexpectedly.
Reverse engineering operation fails when you click Reverse Engineering
When you click
Reverse Engineer on the
Visio UML toolbar, and then open your Visio 2003 UML file, you
receive an error message that states that the reverse engineering operation
failed. This issue occurs when your Visio UML file contains Microsoft Visual
Basic attributes that contain a parenthesis.
Visio 2003 appears to stop responding when you try to update a diagram that is connected to an Oracle database
When you try to update a Database Model Diagram that is
connected to an Oracle database, the Database Refresh Wizard disappears and
Visio 2003 appears to stop responding (hangs).
Error message and Visio 2003 quits unexpectedly when you click Next in the Database Refresh Wizard
When you click
Refresh Model on the

Date field is incorrectly formatted as Month Year when you insert a new column in a Gantt chart
When you insert a new column in a Gantt chart in the
Chinese (Traditional) version of Visio 2003, a date field is incorrectly
formatted as Month Year instead of as Year, Month.
Hyperlinks are broken when you create an organizational chart in the Chinese (Taiwan) version of Visio 2003
When you create an organizational chart in the Chinese
(Taiwan) version of Visio 2003, hyperlinks in the published organizational
chart are broken.

When you use the IExpress /q switch during setup, the switch does not function as expected
