SYMPTOMS

When you use a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path to try to administer a Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 virtual disk, you may experience a very long delay, or Virtual Server may stop responding. You may not receive a notification message about the issue.

CAUSE

This issue may occur when the UNC path of the disk image is invalid.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, make sure that the UNC path of the disk image is valid.
