SYMPTOMSWhen you forward or reply to an e-mail message that was sent
from Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, the layout of items in the HTML e-mail
message may be shifted to the left margin.CAUSEThis problem may occur if you use Microsoft Office Word 2003
as your e-mail editor in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. Word 2003 cannot retain
absolute positioning of items that use the DIV tag when you forward or when you
reply to an HTML e-mail message.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do not use Word 2003 as your
e-mail editor when you forward or reply to an e-mail message that was sent from
OneNote 2003. To turn off Word 2003 as your e-mail editor in Outlook
2003, follow these steps:
- Start Outlook 2003.
- On the Tools menu, click
Options.
- On the Mail Format tab, click to clear
both of the following check boxes:
- Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail
messages
- Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read Rich
Text e-mail messages
- Click OK to close the
Options dialog box.
