Forms that are published in the Organizational Forms Library of Outlook 2003 are not available in offline mode or in online mode (840020)

SYMPTOMS

When you publish a form in the Organizational Forms Library in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, you may find that the form is not available in the offline mode. If you try to open the published form for the first time in the offline mode, the default form is opened instead. If you change to the online mode and then you try to open the published form, the default form opens instead.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when the Outlook profile that you are using when you create the form is set to use the Cached Exchange Mode.

RESOLUTION

This problem is corrected in Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 1.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
