QuickBasic "Launch After Compile" Option Fails on Mac System 7 (84552)

The compile option "Launch after compile" in QuickBasic will not
function correctly under Macintosh System 7. The particular error
depends upon the hardware.
MORE INFORMATION
On the Apple Quadra computer, the binary version of QuickBasic will
abort with an error of type 3 on System 7. The decimal version of
QuickBasic will not abort, but the application will not launch after
compilation.
For all other hardware, the "Launch after compile" option will not
result in an error, but the application will not launch after
compilation, and you will be returned to the QuickBasic editor
environment.
Note that to run QuickBasic on the Quadra or any other hardware with
32-bit addressing, you must first turn off the 32-bit addressing and
restart the computer.
