FIX: The 997 Functional Acknowledgment receipt reports the wrong segment as incorrect in BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA (838912)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA 2.0, you may notice that, when an incoming HIPAA document fails validation, the generated 997 Functional Acknowledgment refers to the wrong element in the AK401 field for the segment that contains the error.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
