Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package:

838017 The plan is not deleted and you receive a "timeout" error message when you try to delete a large plan from your Project Server 2002 database

The following issue is also fixed in this hotfix package, but it was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

When you make a change to a custom Enterprise field of the Project Center in Project Web Access (PWA), other custom Enterprise project fields may also change.

Note When you install the hotfix, all the services that are associated with Microsoft Project Server are stopped and restarted. You may be prompted to restart your computer after you apply the hotfix. Whether you must restart your computer depends on the files that are in use when the you apply the hotfix and on whether the hotfix cannot stop or start the services that are associated with Microsoft Project Server.
