SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, when you deploy an
orchestration, any messages that may already be present in the location that is
specified by the receive location of the orchestration are picked up and then
suspended.CAUSEWhen you deploy an orchestration, the receive location for the orchestration is auto-enabled. With the receive location set as auto-enabled, messages are picked up immediately. However,
the orchestration is not yet enlisted. Therefore, the Messaging Engine suspends
the messages.
Note You can view the state of the messages with the Health and
Activity Tracking (HAT) tool.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use the HAT tool to save the messages and then resubmit
them.
