The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition
Session SummaryTuesday, June 8, 2004This Support WebCast discusses renaming
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 domains when Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 is in
the Active Directory. Successfully renaming Active Directory domains with
Exchange in the environment is now possible with the version of the Exchange
Domain Rename Fixup (XDR-Fixup) tool that will be available on the Web.
Prerequisites and procedures to successfully rename a domain with Exchange 2003
in the environment are similar to those in Windows Server 2003 domain rename,
but require added steps. The domain renaming procedure must be comprehensively
examined before you consider implementing it. This is a
Level
300 session presented by Steve
Schiemann. Steve Schiemann has been working
in Exchange support at Microsoft for more than six years. He started in the
connector's specialty area, and then worked on Exchange 2000 Service Packs 1
and 2. He is currently in the Exchange administration specialty area.
