SYMPTOMS

When you assign commands to mouse buttons in the Mouse Control Panel, some commands are not in the list. For example, you cannot assign a keystroke to a mouse button.

CAUSE

The Microsoft IntelliPoint feature set was updated for version 5.0.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
