a new feature of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 clusters that is named Majority
Node Set (MNS). MNS is designed for a handful of key scenarios including
clusters that have geographically dispersed cluster
nodes.

Steve Mathias joined Microsoft in
January 1996, and has been working with the clustering technology from its
release with Windows NT Server version 4.0 Enterprise Edition in October 1997.
Steve has been involved with Windows Server 2003 on the Server Cluster
technologies from the product's beginning.
