SYMPTOMS
When you use the Distributed File System (DFS) utility (Dfsutil.exe) with the switch
/comment:Comment_Text to create a DFS root, you may receive the following error message:
Unrecognized option "/Comment:Comment_Text"
The DFS utility is included in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Support Tools.
RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Windows Server 2003 service pack that contains this hotfix.

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, you can use Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) scripting to add the comment for the DFS host server.
