The FPNW icon no longer appears in Control Panel on a Windows Server 2003-based computer (838174)

SYMPTOMS

Although you have File and Print Services for NetWare (FPNW) installed on your computer, the FPNW icon no longer appears in Control Panel.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs after you install Microsoft Windows Services for NetWare 5.02 Service Pack 2 or later on your Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.
  2. In the Server Manager window, click FPNW on the menu bar.
