The "Go to Definition" shortcut menu command in the Orchestration view of a BizTalk Project does nothing (837861)

SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 and in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, when you try to display
the definition for a message in the Orchestration view, nothing
occurs.CAUSEThis behavior occurs when no definition is available because
the Message Type property of the message is blank. However, the
Go to Definition command on the shortcut menu that appears when you right-click the message is still
enabled.WORKAROUNDIf the Message Type property of the message
variable is not configured, the Go to Definition menu
command is not applicable. To work around this behavior, configure the Message Type property
of the message variable first.STATUS This
behavior is by design.
