FIX: "Error -2147220493 call to WaitForMultipleObjects failed" error message is logged when a scheduled DTS task runs in Commerce Server 2002 (837649)

SYMPTOMS

If you schedule a Microsoft Commerce Server Data Transformation Services (DTS) package in Microsoft SQL Server SQL Enterprise Manager, and the DTS package contains the Commerce Server Report Preparation DTS task, an error will occur when the Report Prep task runs. When this error occurs, the following event is logged in the application event log:

If you have enabled logging for the DTS package, the text log file will contain the following error message:

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
