This article describes the Microsoft Outlook 2000 issue that
is fixed in the Outlook 2000 post-Service Pack 3 (SP3) hotfix package that is
dated February 26, 2004.

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but was not
previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When you send a clear-text signed Rich Text Format (RTF)
e-mail message in Outlook 2000, the message is received by the recipient as a
signed plain-text message.
This issue occurs after you install Office
2000 Service Pack 3.
