SYMPTOMSWhen you try to connect to an HTTPS Web site in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, the Web page may not completely download.CAUSEThis problem may occur after you install Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (MS04-004) that is also included in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2 (SP2), and the following conditions are true: - You have selected the Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections check box on the Advanced tab. (To locate this tab, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.)
- You use a proxy server that uses NTLM authentication.

HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections setting. To view or change this
setting, click Internet Options on the Tools menu, click the Advanced tab, and then scroll to the HTTP 1.1 settings
section.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that
this is a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5.
