Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package:
  • 835559 You cannot access portal sites or Web sites, certain areas of SharePoint Portal Central Administration display the incorrect server name, and e-mail notifications contain incorrect URLs after you rename the server

The following issues are also fixed in this hotfix package, but were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you use a rule in Outlook 2003 to print received e-mail messages, HTML messages are not printed correctly. For example, only the text of the message is printed. Pictures that are contained in the HTML message are not printed and tables are not formatted correctly.
  • If you attach a Rich Text Format (RTF) message to a new e-mail message and move the attached RTF message, when you programmatically use the Attachments.Count property to return the number of attachments that are contained in the e-mail message, the number that is returned incorrectly includes the number of times that the attached message was moved.
  • When you use a roaming profile and you start Outlook 2003 on a different computer than where you created your new, reply, and forwarding e-mail signatures, the registry subkeys for your e-mail signatures are deleted.
  • If you add a shortcut to another user's calendar folder and then restart Outlook 2003, when you click the other user's calendar shortcut, the shortcut disappears.
  • If you send a meeting request with the Allow New Time Proposals option selected and the recipient responds with a proposed new meeting time, the current and the proposed meeting times are missing from the received e-mail message.
  • If you add a user from a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server to your contact list, and then change the default certificate for the contact, Outlook 2003 may stop responding (hang).
  • If you open a recurring meeting that was booked with a resource account by using the direct booking feature in Outlook 2003 and you try to extend the recurring meeting, you receive the following error message:
Resource is already booked for the specified time. You must use another time or find another resource.
