SYMPTOMS

When you publish your new Microsoft FrontPage 2000 subweb to a Web server that has Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions installed, your subweb is published as a Web program with low application protection.

RESOLUTION

How to obtain the hotfix

This issue is fixed in the FrontPage 2000 Post-Service Pack 3 Hotfix Package that is dated January 21, 2004. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

After you install this hotfix, follow the steps that are listed in the "More Information" section of this article to set the NoAppRoots registry key and to activate the hotfix.
