You cannot open the Base Station Management Tool for the MN-700 Base Station (836521)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to open the Base Station Management Tool for the Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless Base Station MN-700, you may receive the following error message:
Sorry! Content Advisor will not allow you to see this site.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if Microsoft Internet Explorer Content Advisor is enabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Configure Content Advisor to display sites that have no rating

To configure Content Advisor to display sites that have no rating, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  3. On the Content tab, under Content Advisor, click Settings.
  4. Type your supervisor password if you are prompted to do so.
  5. On the General tab, click Users can see sites that have no rating.
  6. Click OK two times.

Method 2: Permit Internet Explorer to display the Base Station Management Tool Web page

To permit Internet Explorer to display the Base Station Management Tool Web page, follow these steps:
  1. In the Content Advisor dialog box, under If you still want to see this site, someone must type in the supervisor password, click Always allow this Web site to be viewed.
  2. In the Password box, type your supervisor password.
  3. Click OK.

Method 3: Turn off Content Advisor

To turn off Content Advisor, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  3. On the Content tab, under Content Advisor, click Disable.
  4. In the Supervisor Password Required dialog box, type your supervisor password, and then click OK.
