SYMPTOMSWhen you use one of the Microsoft Broadband Networking
Wireless adapters listed in the "Applies to" section of this article, your
wireless network name (SSID) may unexpectedly appear as "MSHOME".CAUSEThis issue may occur if either of the following conditions
is true:
- Your computer is part of an ad-hoc (peer-to-peer) wireless
network.
- Your computer is out of range of a wireless access
point.
If these conditions are true, the symptom that is described in
this "Symptoms" section is the expected behavior. STATUS This
behavior is by design.
