SYMPTOMS
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 stops processing documents after an error that is
similar to the following is written to the Application
log (where
BIZTALKSERVER is the name of the computer that is running
BizTalk Server and where
stored procedure name is
the name of the stored procedure that was being
called):

BizTalk Server.

[0x80004005] The following stored procedure call failed: " { call
stored procedure name( ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)}".
:'[DBNETLIB][ConnectionWrite (send()).]General network error. Check your
network documentation.'
Note When this problem occurs, you can restart the computer that is running BizTalk Server to resume document processing.
RESOLUTION
A
supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that
are experiencing this specific problem.
