Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issues are fixed in this hotfix package but were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you insert a Word 2000 document that contains a table into a table cell in a second Word 2000 document, you may receive the following error message:
    A table in this document has become corrupted. To recover the contents of the table: select the table and choose Convert Table To Text from the Table menu.
  • When you use a macro to insert a Word 2000 document that contains a table into a table cell in a second Word 2000 document, Word may quit unexpectedly, and you do not receive an error message.

    Note You may receive a runtime error 28 or a runtime error 6015 if you are used versions of Microsoft Word other than Word 2000.
  • When you print a document that contains a shaded table, the document does not print correctly. Word 2000 does not print the shaded area, unless the paper size is set to A3.

    Note This problem does not occur if you reset the user setting paper size to be exactly A3.
