Error message when you try to install a new printer driver or when you try to upgrade the printer driver on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000: "Unable to install <Printer Name>, Windows 2000, Intel Driver." (835272)

SYMPTOMS On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000, an
operable printer and printer driver are installed. When you try
to install a new printer driver or when you try
to upgrade the
printer driver, you may receive an error message that
resembles the following: Unable to install
<Printer Name>, Windows 2000, Intel Driver.
Operation could not be completed. CAUSEThis
problem occurs if the initial printer
driver has a file that has the same file
date as a file in the
new printer
driver. Also, this
problem occurs if the initial printer
driver has a file that has a newer file date than a file in the
new printer
driver. In these scenarios, the operating
system already loaded the printer
driver.RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported
