SYMPTOMS

When you click a hyperlink in the Preview window, and you are in Authoring-New mode or Authoring-ReEdit mode, you may receive the following error message in Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 Connector for SharePoint Technologies:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
You may receive this error message when you click any channel navigation hyperlink, any posting hyperlink, or any breadcrumb hyperlink. All these hyperlinks link to an MCMS posting in the Preview window.

This behavior is by design.
