MORE INFORMATION
To upgrade a Beta release of Windows SharePoint Services to
a release-to-manufacturing version of Windows SharePoint Services, you must use
the following sequence:
- Upgrade Windows SharePoint Services Beta 1 to Windows
SharePoint Services Beta 2.
- Upgrade Windows SharePoint Services Beta 2 to Windows
SharePoint Services Beta 2 Technical Refresh.
- Upgrade Windows SharePoint Services Beta 2 Refresh to
Windows SharePoint Services release-to-manufacturing version.
You must follow this exact sequence. You cannot skip a Beta
release when you upgrade to the release-to-manufacturing version of Windows
SharePoint Services. For example, if you are running Windows SharePoint
Services Beta 2, you have to first upgrade to Windows SharePoint Services Beta
2 Technical Refresh, and then upgrade Windows SharePoint Services Beta 2
Technical Refresh to the release-to-manufacturing version of Windows SharePoint
Services.
The build numbers that correspond to each release of Windows
SharePoint Services are listed below:
