SYMPTOMS
You have a magneto-optical (MO) disk that has been formatted in FAT16 SuperFloppy format in the German-language version of either Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows 2000. You insert this MO disk into an MO drive on a computer that is running the US-English version of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. However, you receive the following error message when you double-click the MO disk:
The drive cannot find the sector requested.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the
Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
