To do this, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
- In Services, double-click Distributed File System.
- On the General tab, click Automatic next to Startup type.
- Under Service Status, click Start if the service is not started.
- Click OK, and then close the Services window.
