SYMPTOMS
When a Microsoft Visual Basic for Windows 6.0 application uses ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) and Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 Provider to connect to a Microsoft Access 2000 database, a problem may occur. You can use the
SELECT statement that has a
LIKE clause. However, if the
LIKE clause contains a special Japanese character, such as ?, you may receive the following error message:
-2147217900
This problem occurs when you use the Korean version of Microsoft Windows 2000.
