SYMPTOMSYour Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer may randomly restart or stop responding, and then you may receive an error message that is similar to the following: STOP 0x00000050
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA CAUSEThis problem may occur when a buffer that is sent to the
RtlInitUnicodeString
function during the logoff process
does not contain a NULL termination.
In this scenario, an access violation occurs on the Windows 2000-based computer, and this may
generate the error that is described in the "Symptoms" section.
