The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP3
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP4

- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition
SYMPTOMSWhen a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or a Microsoft Windows
Server 2003 Web site queries a catalog that uses the Htmlheading document property, the search returns no results.
Note When this behavior occurs, documents can still be queried by
using a standard query and the containing words.CAUSEThis behavior may occur if one of the following conditions
is true:
- The catalog is hosted on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Service
Pack 3 (SP3) or later server.
- The catalog is moved to a Windows 2000 SP3 or later server
from a server that is running an earlier version of Windows 2000 or Microsoft
Windows NT.
- The Windows 2000 server that hosts the catalog is upgraded
to Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 3, Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 4, or
Windows Server 2003.
This behavior is a result of design changes that were introduced
in Windows 2000 SP3. Document Htmlheading property fields are intended for formatting, but not for textual
purposes. STATUS This
behavior is by design.
