How to find information that is no longer included in updated TechNet CDs (833521)

  • Microsoft TechNet

SUMMARY

Microsoft tries to give you the most current and accurate information in each monthly issue. Microsoft removes from the CDS only the information that is obsolete or incorrect. For a complete list of information that has been deleted, see the "What's History" list in the TechNet News section on your Technical Information CD.

Because Microsoft does not want you to use old information to repair or update your computer, Microsoft recommends that you use only the latest issues of the CDs. When a CD no longer appears in your list of binder contents, it has probably been removed or revised.

If you have a special reason to archive old CDs, you can purchase additional binders and sleeves from Centis (a supplier to Microsoft). When you contact Centis, explain to the customer service representative that you subscribe to Microsoft TechNet CD and that you are interested in an additional TechNet binder or additional CD sleeves. You can contact Centis by telephone or Web site:
  • You can telephone Centis at (800) 767-0778 ext. 5999. This telephone number works in North America.
  • You can visit the following Centis Web site to see some of their products:
