You cannot automatically rename a new folder on a mapped network drive on a Windows XP-based computer (833424)

SYMPTOMSWhen you use a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer to map a drive letter to a network share, and then create a new folder by right-clicking in the same network share window where you created the new folder, you cannot automatically rename the new folder.
To rename the new folder, you must right-click the folder and then click Rename.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows XP.
