When you send a print job from a Line Printer Remote (LPR) client to a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer that is running the Line Printer Daemon (LPD) print service, the print job may not use the font that you specify.

When you print from an LPR client by means of a Windows 2000-based computer that is running the LPD print service, you cannot set the font. Print jobs that are sent from an LPR client to a Windows 2000-based computer that is running the LPD print service use the default font for the printer.
