Notification of assigned sections in an Accelerator for Proposals document is sent by the wrong user (833264)

SYMPTOMSA user who is assigned a section that is contained in a
Microsoft Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document may be notified of
the assignment by a user of the document who did not assign the
section.CAUSEThis problem may occur when you assign a section to a user
(owner) and do not complete the Save and Notify process before you close the
document.
When another user edits the Accelerator for Proposals
document, the user may notice the "Notifications are pending" message in the
Notifications area of the Document Actions
task pane. If the user clicks Save and Notify, and then clicks
OK, the user (owner) of the assigned sections may be notified
of the assignment by the wrong user.RESOLUTIONTo prevent this problem, follow these steps:
- After you assign the sections that you want, click
Sections on the Document Actions task
pane.
- In the Notifications area of the
Document Actions task pane, click Save and
Notify.
- Click OK when you receive the following
message:Click 'OK' to save your document to the server,
publish changed sections and send notifications.
- Close the Accelerator for Proposals document.
