You cannot insert clip art in an Office 2003 document object (832927)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to insert clip art in a Microsoft Office 2003 object, the Insert Clip Art pane may not appear and you cannot insert the clip art. This problem occurs when all the following conditions are true: - You inserted a Microsoft Office document, such as a Microsoft Word document or a Microsoft Excel worksheet, as an object into a non-Office program.
- You are editing that Office 2003 object in place.
- You click Insert, point to Picture, and then click Clip Art.
CAUSEThis problem occurs because Office 2003 objects do not support the use of panes when you edit the object in place in a non-Office program.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, start Clip Organizer in stand-alone mode, and then insert the clip art into your Office 2003 object. To do this, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Clip Organizer
- Locate the clip art image that you want to use.
- Right-click the image, and then click Copy. If the Office 2003 object is not in edit mode, double-click the object.
- Right-click in the Office 2003 object area, and then click Paste.
The clip art is pasted into the Office 2003 object.
