You receive an error message when you try to upload the PublishingTasks.xsd file to an Authoring Connector (832371)

SYMPTOMS

You receive an error message if you have moved the location of the PublishingTasks.xsd file on an Authoring Connector computer

You set up a customized Authoring Connector environment to help secure the PublishingTasks.xml file and the PublishingTasks.xsd file by using the information on the following MSDN Web site: When you do so, you may receive the following error message when you click an item in the Available Publishing Task List:
An error was found on the last page. You can click Back to fix it, or click Cancel to end this wizard. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
This problem occurs when the PublishingTasks.xsd file does not reside in the same directory as the Oc.aspx file. The MSDN article states that these two files should reside in different directories.

Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
